Healthy, delicious food doesn’t have to be complicated. Here is a simple, 20 minute recipe that doesn’t require any fancy seasonings. Salt and pepper is just enough to add a little something to the already delicious flavor of these beautiful asparagus spears and sliced organic whole carrots.
- Wash and cut vegetables. I like to peel my carrots, cut off the ends and slice them in half long ways. For asparagus: grab the stems in one hand and the bottoms in the other and snap. They will naturally break off where they should. To save time, grab a handful at a time.
- Toss vegetables in light olive oil and spread out on baking sheet.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
